Judge Gray is a graduate of Terrell High School (Class of 1998). She received her Bachelor of Science from Abilene Christian University in Political Science and received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Houston Law Center.

Upon graduation from law school she returned home to work for 5 years as an Assistant District Attorney in the Kaufman County Criminal District Attorney’s Office. There she worked as a misdemeanor and felony prosecutor as well as assist with domestic violence protective orders and mental illness cases. She was also one of the original members of the DWI specialty court. While an ADA she was elected President of the Kaufman County Bar Association.

After leaving the DA’s Office she helped establish Guest & Gray, Kaufman County’s largest law firm. As a partner there she gained significant experience in family law and civil litigation.

She was elected Judge of the Kaufman County Court at Law in November of 2018. Judge Gray was sworn in on January 1, 2019, and has worked diligently to reduce the backlog of civil cases in her court as well establish new systems to help criminal cases move faster. She shares the caseload with the district and county courts in family law, civil law, and criminal law and is assigned to hear all the CPS and juvenile justice cases in the county.

Judge Gray is married to her husband Scott, and they have twin 6-year-old daughters, Audrey and Bailey who attend school in Forney ISD.
